Job Summary
Oversee key projects, processes, data, and analysis while communicating project information to stakeholders and monitoring scope, schedule, and budget for manufacturing operations and installation activities. Evaluate released design packages to develop manufacturing plans, work instructions, and bills of materials, then participate on the shop floor to validate these specifications. Host meetings to plan job-to-job build execution and coordinate purchasing with internal manufacturing, external suppliers, and vendors. Utilize CAD software to analyze scope of work and respond to inquiries from global stakeholders, reporting issues to project management bi-weekly or as needed. Maintain complex files and written documents while defining tasks and milestones to achieve objectives with optimal resource use.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar field
- Five years prior work experience in a tooling/manufacturing environment in the aerospace industry
- Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance
- Must have strong interpersonal skills
- Can multitask and manage multiple large to small projects in a cross functional environment
- Comfortable working in foreign business environments
- Creates and maintains complex files and written documents
- Excellent time management skills and ability to plan and set priorities
- Clear and effective communication skills in both written and spoken forms
- Knowledge of computer applications including email, databases, word-processing program and spreadsheets (such as Microsoft Office)
- Maintains confidentiality while processing and handling confidential information with discretion
- Defines tasks and milestones to achieve objectives, while ensuring the optimal use of resources to achieve those objectives
- Works effectively with different levels of management, team members and customers
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds
- Must be available for overtime
- Must be available for required travel
- Must be available for emergent conditions
