Job Summary
Manage construction projects through all phases including pre-job, mobilization, construction, and closeout. Ensure consistent adherence to contract terms, plans, and specifications while managing contracts, sub-contractors, and vendors to meet deliverables and schedules. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, understand client drivers, and offer value engineering proposals for functionality, cost, and schedule benefits. Maintain accurate project documentation and establish positive client relations. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering with 5+ years of heavy civil construction experience, preferably in water treatment. 30-50% travel mainly in Texas. Salary range $110-$150k plus bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
- 5+ years of heavy civil construction experience, preferably in water treatment or wastewater construction
- Ability to create and manage comprehensive project schedules using plans and input from subcontractors
- The ability to travel out of town to job sites
- Travel Requirement: 30-50% travel, mainly in the State of Texas, but occasional out-of-state travel may be required.
