Job Summary
Lead complex, strategic projects within the power generation and oilfield equipment packaging business, serving as the primary interface with customers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and contractual compliance. Develop and execute project work plans from order intake through pre-commissioning and handover, while collaborating with sales and engineering teams to assess risks, negotiate change orders, and optimize margins. Manage project teams, oversee procurement, and maintain financial integrity through accurate revenue recognition and reporting. Ensure adherence to QHSE standards and drive continuous process improvements. This role requires a hands-on manufacturing leader with at least seven years of experience in project management within the power generation or oil & gas sectors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- min. 7 years of experience in project management, preferably within the power generation, oil & gas, or industrial equipment sectors
- Demonstrated success in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to drive and manage change in a dynamic environment
- Excellent customer relationship management and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook) and Oracle ERP systems
- Office-based with occasional site visits as required
- Manual dexterity required for computer use and office tasks
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Some overtime may be required based on project demands
Desired Qualifications
- PMP certification is a plus but not mandatory
