Job Summary

Lead end-to-end project management for infrastructure and construction initiatives, including scoping, planning, risk management, and monitoring progress against time and budget. Direct activities across quality assurance, engineering, stakeholder engagement, procurement, and safety while managing contracts as the "Contract Owner" to reduce exposure to claims. Verify field data, communicate technical solutions to teams, and analyze financial or asset data to drive strategic decisions. Facilitate complex decision-making, escalate roadblocks, and manage project close-out activities including reporting and data gathering. Engage collaboratively with cross-functional teams, internal and external parties, and field crews to ensure clear directions and timely project delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum five (5) years of project management experience or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or related discipline
  • Demonstrated leadership and communication ability
  • 5 years of progressively complex project, program, or business management
  • Bachelor's degree or Project and/or Program Management certification, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication (both orally and in writing), facilitation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills along with demonstrating planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Emotional Intelligence and ability to receive feedback and learn
  • Ability to 'connect-the-dots', focus on task at hand and see the bigger the picture
  • Ability to be agile and adaptable
  • Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project)
  • Advanced English skills for professional environment, written and spoken

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree Engineering, an asset
  • Project Management Professional (PMP®) designation, preferred
  • Experience within utilities is an asset but not required
