Job Summary
Oversee the full lifecycle of civil construction projects from pre-construction planning through execution and close-out. Partner with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to define scope, timelines, and deliverables while developing schedules, budgets, and resource plans. Monitor progress proactively to avoid delays, manage subcontractors and vendors, and resolve constructability challenges. Lead field teams, ensure compliance with safety standards, and prepare regular reporting to leadership. Review costs, forecast variances, and manage change orders. Mentor team members and support material procurement and equipment coordination. Maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities to improve project processes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of project management experience in civil construction
- Experience managing projects such as earthworks, utilities, pipelines, and road construction
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with budgeting, cost control, and project financials
- Experience working with subcontractors and contract administration
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence with clean abstract
- Valid First Aid and CSTS 2020 certification
- Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing as required
- Completion of corporate and site-specific orientations
- Use of required PPE at all times on-site
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Financial acumen and understanding of project cost control

Desired Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering or related field
- P.Eng. designation or PMP certification
