Job Summary
Project Manager for construction programs responsible for overall management direction of multiple projects including planning, budgets, schedules, and coordination with clients and field staff. May serve as on-site manager for large, complex projects; must lead by example and uphold company mission and values. Responsibilities include building relationships with GCs and field staff, guiding project execution, coordinating with superintendents and foremen, establishing objectives and standards, monitoring progress to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery, managing contract finances, procuring materials, interpreting plans, updating progress and costs, assigning field workers, developing subcontractor relationships, ensuring quality control, processing change orders within a week, and maintaining clear communication with clients. Required experience includes 5-7 years in construction management, hands-on knowledge of asphalt, underground utility, earthmoving, and concrete, strong MS Office and Project skills, and excellent communication and professionalism.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5-7 years of construction management experience or comparable skills in a related field
- Extensive knowledge in asphalt, underground utility, earthmoving, concrete experience
- Must be able to manage multiple projects and lead multiple project managers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must know Microsoft Office and Project
- Professional and polished in appearance and speech
