Job Summary
Project Manager, Industrial Automation is needed to oversee cradle-to-grave projects related to Process Systems (material handling, packaging, etc.) for an OEM serving food processing, agriculture, chemicals, and industrial manufacturing. Manage budgets, timelines, and resources; coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and field services; troubleshoot technical challenges; ensure compliance with industry standards (food-grade, safety). Office role initially with a transition to flex/hybrid work; travel 30-50% depending on project load. Direct-hire opportunity with a salary in the $90k-$120k+ range and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field)
- 5+ years of project management experience in industrial automation or material handling
- Strong technical knowledge of material handling systems
- PMP certification preferred
