Job Summary
Drive project flow from inception to completion by overseeing organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation while ensuring field teams adhere to standard operating procedures. Manage resources efficiently to keep work within budget and ahead of schedule, maintaining full financial responsibility for projects. Coordinate subcontractor relations, resolve field problems, and select suppliers with input from engineering and purchasing. Prepare budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking data while ensuring all document control, including permits, submittals, and RFIs, is completed efficiently. Inspect projects for code compliance, host meetings to review job progress, and collaborate on safety protocols and weekly walk-throughs. Escalate critical issues to management with resolution recommendations. This in-person role requires commuting to field locations and navigating job sites.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum 3-5 years related experience in electrical construction or similar industry
- Working knowledge of the construction industry and contract documentation
- Working knowledge of Federal, state, and city regulations and guidelines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Teams, Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Must demonstrate integrity, honesty, professionalism and commitment to company values
- Must have excellent organizational, communication, strategic, technical, analytical, problem solving, and multi-tasking skills
- Must have high standards of quality with attention to detail
- Must possess ability to manage and supervise personnel
- Must build positive working relationships with multiple levels of employees, management, suppliers, and customers
- Must be able to commute to field locations
- Must have the ability to navigate around job site locations
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Accubid, AutoCAD, Revit, and other electrical, technical, or construction programs
- Familiarity with project management/document control software
- Familiarity with construction/financial software packages
