Job Summary
This position is responsible for managing engineering-related projects, ensuring projects are completed and meet defined requirements/budgets. Duties include working with clients to define business requirements, developing detailed work scopes aligned with client needs, developing detailed control budgets to meet scope of work, developing project timelines, managing assigned resources to ensure on-time completion, coordinating with vendors/suppliers to acquire equipment and technology, maintaining proper project documentation, and promoting professionalism and safety throughout the workplace. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited University
- at least eleven (11) years of experience in industrial work including refinery, petrochemical, chemical, offshore, pipeline or utility industries
- Valid Driver’s License as per State law or requirement
- Professional license preferred but not required
- Excellent generalist skills in the project management field
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational, leadership and time management skills
- Discretion and judgment
- Computer literate with Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and project management software
- Clear and concise communication skills (oral and written)
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to walk up to one mile on industrial plants and construction sites outdoors
- Ability to work in protective clothing
- Ability to use multi-level stair towers and rung ladders
- Ability to hear safety alarms and signals with hearing protection
- Ability to sit at desk and operate computer for extended periods
- Ability to stand, use hands and fingers, grip, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and talk and hear
- Ability to see with visual acuity and distinguish colors
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle and hold a valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift and carry 15 lbs regularly and up to 25 lbs occasionally
