Job Summary
Lead and manage complex projects within DFPS Operations Support Services, guiding planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout across multiple stakeholders to align with agency objectives. Develop and manage budgets and schedules, facilitate effective meetings, monitor performance and risks, coordinate with internal teams, external agencies, and vendors, and ensure delivery on time and within scope. Demonstrates leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to drive process improvements while maintaining compliance with applicable standards.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited four year college or university is generally preferred
- Documented project management experience and education may be substituted on a year for year basis
- Two years experience managing projects, operational initiatives, or process improvement efforts
- Experience leading cross-division, intra-agency efforts, fostering collaboration among diverse partners/stakeholders
- Experience in providing and working in a customer service focused environment
- Preferred qualifications include demonstrated ability to measure performance, mitigate risks, and drive continuous operational improvement across the program lifecycle
- Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and budget alignment
- Experience working in Health and Human Service agencies, DFPS preferred
- Certified Texas Contract Manager (CTCM) not required but preferred
- CAPM or PMP not required but preferred
