Job Summary
Project Manager II responsible for independently managing multiple customer orders and projects from inception through closeout in the energy sector. Serves as the primary client liaison, leads project deliverables, creates schedules and execution plans, ensures adherence to contractual requirements and quality standards (NEMA, IEC, IEEE, UL), coordinates across manufacturing, engineering, procurement, logistics, vendors, and customers, manages risk and budget, and communicates status to leadership. Requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and ability to drive projects on time and within budget; ~20% travel to customer sites and facilities. Based in Duluth, GA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related discipline preferred
- Typically 5+ years of relevant experience with dedicated project management experience in electrical, rotating equipment, energy, manufacturing, or capital projects industries
- Prior experience managing customer-facing technical projects preferred
- Certifications: PMP certification preferred
- Travel approximately 20% to customer sites, manufacturing locations, and vendor locations as required
