Job Summary
Manage specialty concrete infrastructure and prestressed tank construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, schedule adherence, and financial performance. Develop full understanding of contract documents, prepare startup packages, and maintain CPM schedules with look-ahead planning. Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and owners on shop drawings, submittals, and procurement approvals while conducting site visits and leading preconstruction meetings. Review weekly job cost reporting, present updates during monthly WIP meetings, and oversee field coordination including safety inspections and QA/QC. Manage change orders, delays, and contractual coordination with owners and general contractors. Ensure timely project closeout and lead post-project reviews. Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with regional travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field OR equivalent experience
- 3+ years of Project Management experience or equivalent construction leadership experience
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record and insurability
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong scheduling, submittal, and document control experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- North Florida (Regional Travel Required)
Desired Qualifications
- Concrete, civil, or infrastructure construction experience strongly preferred
- OSHA 30 Certification preferred
- Proficiency with MS Project or scheduling software
- Proficiency with Bluebeam
- Experience with Autodesk DWF Composer
- PMI-CP Certification a plus
- First Aid / CPR / AED certification a plus
