Job Summary
Project Manager II responsible for coordinating global equipment build schedules and technical details from order to shipment. Collaborates with Sales and Systems teams to understand customer requirements, solidifies product specifications, and manages resources and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery to specification. Develops and maintains detailed schedules for global integration projects, supports ISO 9001 documentation, and participates in cross-project planning to resolve conflicts in priorities, resourcing, schedules, and scope. Communicates with customers throughout the project life cycle, reviews contracts and proposals as required, and assists in finalizing specifications while maintaining customer relationships. Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 5-10 years in can making or machine building, with strong project planning/analysis skills and proficiency in Word and Excel. Estimated travel is 50% or as required. Work schedule generally 40 hours per week, with potential on-call status, evenings, and weekends. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Operations Management, Engineering, Marketing or Project Management preferred
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in can making industry or machine building industry or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong foundation in project planning and analysis, communications and basic qualitative/quantitative evaluation is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
