Job Summary
Manage day-to-day operational aspects of research projects, including establishing processes to ensure delivery within budget, standards, and time frames. Develop project plans, cost projections, and resource allocations while coordinating policies and procedures to meet specific requirements. Interface with clients and relevant parties to resolve problems, maintain progress, and reduce failure risks through periodic progress reporting and accurate documentation. Clarify project objectives, goals, and participant roles to align activities with organizational success.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in applicable job-related field
- four (4) years of project manager experience or equivalent combination of project manager education/experience
- Knowledge of project management processes
- Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Interpersonal skills to interact with a wide range of constituencies
- Ability to present information and respond to inquiries
- Ability to clarify project objective, goals, and the roles and responsibilities of participants
- Ability to organize and manage resources
