Job Summary
Manage capital projects up to $50M by scoping and estimating, authoring expenditure requests, and leading multi-functional teams while providing cost and schedule control. Develop proposals and RFQs to optimize system performance, create technical specifications, and prepare engineering drawings including process flow and assembly diagrams. Design and troubleshoot systems for instruments, controls, and thermal components; evaluate field installations to recommend design modifications that eliminate malfunctions. Oversee commissioning and startup of new equipment while ensuring safe working practices comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering
- minimum of 10 years of experience in the field or in a related area in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and fulfill responsibilities associated with project engineering teams
- Knowledge of a range of engineering disciplines (instrumentation, electrical, civil, mechanical, and chemical)
- Demonstrated ability to both work within and lead multi-disciplinary teams
- Demonstrated ability to perform safety analysis, especially HAZOP or FEMA
- Experience in developing and reading of mechanical design drawings
- U.S. citizen, U.S. national, person lawfully admitted for permanent residence, temporary resident under sections 210(a) or 245(A) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, person admitted in refugee status, or person granted asylum
