Job Summary
The Project Manager II independently leads complex client solutions and internal initiatives, ensuring timely and high-quality project completion. This role requires excellent client-facing communication, problem-solving abilities, and adept management of internal/external teams. Candidates must have strong experience in managing projects within the information technology sector, including banking and healthcare. Responsibilities include developing and overseeing project plans, driving execution with technical analysis, communicating effectively with stakeholders, and ensuring prompt and accurate task completion.
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and developers on projects in a fast-paced environment with firm deadlines
- Strong educational background
- Proven experience as a project manager in the information technology sector, banking, and/or healthcare verticals
- Strong scheduling, issue, and risk management background
- Experience with technology projects and project management methodologies including creating schedules and roadmaps
- Experience gathering requirements and interpreting and prioritizing client needs
- Experience creating status reports and communicating status to stakeholders at all organizational levels
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with JIRA is a plus
- PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus
