Job Summary
Estimate, value engineer, and develop project budgets while managing jobs in progress from initial budget through closeout. Facilitate the subcontractor bid process, negotiate buyouts, and plan schedules to ensure quality, safety, and customer satisfaction on projects ranging from $5 million to $20 million. Coordinate subcontractors, resolve conflicts, and forecast construction costs through project completion. Provide leadership by mentoring personnel, communicating effectively, and collaborating with field supervision to establish operational priorities. Interact with clients and owners to identify potential work, present during bidding, and secure new business while developing leads through industry organizations.
Required Qualifications
- 9+ years' experience
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across all areas of the organization
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A collaborative approach to leading successful projects
- Self motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail oriented
Desired Qualifications
- B.S. in Construction, Engineering, or related area of study is preferred
- Warehouse, Healthcare, K-12, and Higher Education construction experience is desired
