Job Summary
Lead the full project lifecycle from initiation through deployment and closure, developing plans, schedules, and milestones while managing scope, timelines, dependencies, and budgets. Coordinate internal teams and third-party suppliers to achieve delivery targets, establish governance frameworks, and facilitate steering committees. Build strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders, provide executive reporting, and manage expectations while tracking budgets, actual spend, and resource utilization. Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and resolve blockers to ensure projects remain within approved financial tolerances and agreed quality standards. Support user adoption through training and communications to ensure a successful transition into business-as-usual operations.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience delivering medium-to-large IT projects
- Experience managing cross-functional project teams
- Strong track record in delivering software, infrastructure, cloud, ERP, CRM, or digital transformation initiatives
- Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery environments
- Experience managing third-party suppliers and implementation partners
- Project lifecycle management
- Risk and issue management
- Budget and financial tracking
- Resource planning and forecasting
- Change control and governance processes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong leadership and influencing capabilities
- Effective stakeholder management at all organisational levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced and changing environments
- Minimum 8 years in project management with strong governance and delivery discipline
- Degree in Business, Information Technology, or related discipline
- Expertise in financial oversight, resource planning, and project reporting tools (Power BI, JIRA, THOR)
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of methodologies: PRINCE2, Agile/Hybrid
- Certifications desirable (PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, SAFe)
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
- Certifications desirable: PRINCE2 Practitioner, MSP, SAFe
