Project Manager - ICI Construction

Job Summary
Conduct internal and external project kick-off meetings, chair site meetings, and produce minutes within 48 hours. Lead trade mobilization calls between days 4 and 10 post award, confirming commitments on schedules, shop drawings, and payment terms. Read drawings for discrepancies, manage subcontractor costs to meet profitability targets, and act as the first point of escalation for trade turnaround issues. Review monthly job costing with the Director to forecast profitability and identify risks. Complete time sheets to log hours for accurate job costing and efficiency analysis. This role supports a leading general contractor focused on interiors and ground-up projects across Southern Ontario, leveraging 7+ years of GC experience to drive project success from tender through closeout.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of construction project management experience in a GC environment, preferably Ontario
- Degree or Diploma in a construction related field ie engineering, architecture, construction management
- Strong communication skills
- Established rapport with trades, consultants and building departments in Ontario
