Job Summary
Identify and assess new renewable energy development opportunities across the UK and Republic of Ireland, leading site searches and feasibility studies including grid capacity and resource reviews. Negotiate land rights, exclusivity agreements, and commercial arrangements with landowners while managing due diligence and preparing submissions for land tenders. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure robust decision-making, manage project reporting and governance, and support commercial strategy and budget management. This commercially minded role operates at the front end of the development pipeline, requiring strong negotiation skills and the ability to balance risk and reward. Full UK driving licence required.
Required Qualifications

- Land acquisition or land management
- Planning and development
- Property, infrastructure or utilities projects
- A strong understanding of site feasibility and development considerations
- Experience evaluating development opportunities and balancing risk and reward
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
- The ability to build strong relationships with landowners, consultants and key stakeholders
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities
- Confidence managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Knowledge of renewable energy land agreements and commercial structures
- Experience using GIS and spatial data tools
- Knowledge of onshore wind development
