Job Summary
Project Manager I for Ryan Companies US, Inc. in the Southwest region based in Atlanta. Oversee planning, execution and completion of commercial construction projects, emphasizing quality, safety and compliance. Responsibilities include owner/client sales presentations, design development support, budget preparation, project scheduling, bid documents, subcontract negotiation, cost control, and jobsite coordination. Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of commercial/construction experience (including design-build and healthcare construction). Proficiency with Microsoft Project and other PM tools is expected; duties include preparing profit projections, cost control, and final billing/close-out activities. Strong communication with superintendents, subcontractors, and owner/clients is desirable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in commercial construction
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project and other project management tools
- Estimating techniques, cost control, and material pricing
- Experience in design-build projects (4+ years) and healthcare construction (4+ years)
- Ability to prepare budgets, schedules, bid documents, and subcontract negotiations
- Jobsite coordination meetings and project close-out duties
