Job Summary
Project Manager I responsible for managing project scope and budget, sequencing and scheduling to drive efficiency from start to finish. Key duties include overseeing adherence to RTMC Quality Standards and codes, leading field crews, coordinating material deliveries and subcontractors, and driving timely completion with high quality. The role emphasizes proactive planning, mentorship and development of future leaders, effective delegation, and professional communication with builders and customers to sustain RTMC’s brand. The candidate will autonomously create production plans, manage change orders, verify installations per design, ensure safety requirements, and maintain comprehensive project reporting. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no nights or weekends and requires a 4-year engineering-related degree with MEP experience or equivalent construction experience with MEP exposure.
Required Qualifications
- 4 year ME/BCM degree and 2 years minimum MEP-specific work experience OR 5-years minimum construction experience with 2 years MEP-specific
- Completed OSHA 30
- Demonstrated leadership
- Proficient in IMC, IBC, IPC and how that translates into field installation and application
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize
- Proactive problem solving and critical thinking
- MS Office proficiency; MS Project experience a plus
