Job Summary
Entry-level Project Manager I in Building Envelope Consulting, combines field inspections and office work to manage smaller projects, coordinate schedules and subcontractors, communicate with clients, and develop technical expertise in roofing, waterproofing, cladding, and exterior building systems. The role involves running smaller projects independently while supporting more complex assignments, performing site visits, documenting existing conditions, building report-writing and consulting skills, and coordinating inspections, subcontractors, and internal teams to keep tasks on track. Travel locally to project sites and work in both office and field environments. Ideal for someone moving up from roles such as Assistant PM or Project Engineer, with 1–3 years of related experience and a degree in construction/architecture/engineering; EIT or PMP certification is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in construction, architecture, engineering, consulting or project management
- Foundational knowledge of construction systems
- Interest in building envelope consulting, roofing, waterproofing, or exterior systems
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities without dropping details
- Comfortable with both office work and field/site inspections
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred
- EIT, PMP, or industry certifications are a plus
