Job Summary
Project Manager I is responsible for overseeing multiple low-complexity projects and, at times, a moderately complex project concurrently under direct supervision. Key duties include managing budgets (up to $20 million across projects or up to $5 million on a single project), achieving margins greater than 15%, coordinating retrofits or brownfield work for existing KNAPP customers, integrating scope from KNAPP subsidiaries and limited 3rd-party components (under 15%), and performing minor software development on established KNAPP products. The role entails maintaining robust project documentation (minutes, agendas, action items, risk registers, critical path schedules, commercial correspondence, cost analyses, status reports, open issues lists), ensuring timely communication among stakeholders and KNAPP resources, and escalating issues as needed. Responsibilities also include maintaining schedules using critical path methodology, coordinating with procurement and engineering for RFQs and subcontracts, managing contracts with customers and sub-suppliers, handling change order pricing and proposals, and coordinating with internal teams (installation, commissioning, product) to drive project success. The role requires authorization to work in the U.S. and up to 50% travel (quarterly international travel). Two remote workdays per week when in office are provided in a hybrid arrangement at the Kennesaw, GA location. Industry-competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are offered.
