Job Summary
Plan and execute capital expenditure, facilities, and compliance projects, managing schedules, budgets, and vendor coordination from initiation through final acceptance. Develop project implementation plans, forecast downtime impacts, and oversee on-site construction activities while supporting engineering teams on plant infrastructure upgrades. Create regular status reports for executive stakeholders, maintain centralized documentation, and track performance to drive process improvements. Assist with annual shutdowns and commissioning, including weekend and holiday work, while ensuring environmental, safety, and facility security compliance. This full-time, on-site role in Paramount, CA supports projects in Verdi, NV, with up to 25% travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to comply with ITAR and EAR residency requirements
- US Citizens or Permanent Residents
- Capital project management experience of large-scale projects
- Bachelor's Degree
- PMP
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience using CAD software is preferred (e.g. AutoCAD)
- Familiarity with state and local building codes and standards
- Goal oriented and demonstrated ability to continually prioritize tasks, and work under pressure with sensitivity to deadlines
- B.S. in Project Management or Engineering preferred
- 0-7+ years' experience working in project management or engineering, preferably in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment
