Job Summary
MEP Project Manager I/II for mission-critical, aviation, government, higher-education, and advanced commercial infrastructure in Dallas-Fort Worth. Lead multidisciplinary engineering projects from planning through construction closeout, balancing technical execution, client relationships, and project profitability. Responsibilities include project stewardship across planning, design coordination, construction administration, and closeout; multidisciplinary coordination of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, architectural, civil, and technology systems; acting as the primary client contact; managing schedules, scopes, and budgets; overseeing field and construction activities; ensuring code compliance and constructability; mentoring junior staff and assisting with recruiting. Requires a BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering (or closely related); PM I: 0–5 years in MEP/AEC; PM II: 5+ years MEP PM experience; proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office; travel ~10%. Preferred: PE license or EIT; sector experience in mission-critical, data center, aviation, or higher education.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering (or a closely related engineering discipline) from an accredited university
- Project Manager I: 0–5 years of progressive experience within an MEP engineering environment or related AEC consulting industry
- Project Manager II: 5+ years of dedicated MEP engineering and project management experience
- Technical Acumen: Strong, comprehensive understanding of building systems, multidisciplinary workflows, and applicable building codes
- Software Proficiency: Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Leadership Capabilities: Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, staffing allocations, and project records effectively
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to facilitate alignment and lead high-level stakeholder meetings
- Travel: Ability to travel approximately 10% as required to meet project and client needs
