Job Summary
Project Manager I, II, III overseeing shipboard installation, modernization, and C5ISR integration projects for Navy/government customers. Primary interface with government representatives, ship’s force, subcontractors, and internal teams. Responsible for scope, schedule, budget, labor utilization, procurement, and customer deliverables; ensures adherence to NAVSEA standards and contract requirements; leads kickoff and status reviews; coordinates with procurement, QA, security, engineering, contracts; requires shipboard installation knowledge and ability to manage risks and changes; in-office role in Chesapeake, VA.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Six (6) years of experience in maritime C5ISR installation, modernization, ship repair, shipbuilding, project management, or related technical programs
- Demonstrated experience managing mid-sized projects (<$1.5M)
- Demonstrated ability to interpret NAVSEA drawings and shipboard installation work packages
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Security Clearance: U.S. Citizenship Required
