Job Summary
Coordinate contract reviews and prepare Microsoft Project schedules to define scope and deliverables for manufactured and fabricated offshore drilling equipment. Manage project timelines, budgets, and supply chain performance while arranging customer meetings to address issues and action items. Monitor and report on schedules, costs, and third-party inspection activities to internal and external stakeholders. Anticipate problems and provide timely solutions, ensuring adherence to established baselines and drawing revision controls. Maintain strong relationships with customers and their inspection vendors while managing aged receivables and progress billing reports. Requires PMP certification, 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing environments, and proficiency in MRP/ERP systems.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates are required to be authorized to work in the United States
- All employees must be able to comply with the company Drug and Alcohol Policy, which includes participation in Company random drug testing
- Employment is subject to background checks appropriate to the position
- 3-5 year's experience associated with project management of manufactured and fabricated offshore drilling and production equipment, or similar equipment
- Computer literate with emphasis on Microsoft word, Excel, and Project
- Knowledge and experience in MRP/ERP systems
- Able to read and comprehend engineering drawings
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate technical data to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experienced in machine shop/welding environment
- Must be able to read and comprehend blueprints
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred: Certified Associate in PMP or PMP
- Preferred: 4-year college degree
