Job Summary
Assess losses, define project scopes, and prepare accurate estimates for residential restoration projects. Coordinate teams, subcontractors, and resources to maintain efficiency and quality standards while managing schedules, budgets, and documentation. Meet with homeowners, adjusters, and insurers to communicate updates and build trust-based relationships. Solve problems in real time to ensure every project completes safely, on time, and within budget. This role combines office organization with hands-on field leadership, requiring a rotating on-call schedule and physical readiness for tasks like material handling and working in tight spaces. Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience as a Project Manager or in a related restoration or construction role (Mitigation Manager, Lead Water Technician etc.)
- College diploma or an equivalent mix of education, professional training, and relevant experience
- Knowledge/Experience of restoration processes, building codes, and health and safety practices
- Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret scopes, plans, and estimates
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and mobile applications
- IICRC or equivalent certifications
- Ability to obtain WRT certification
- Valid driver's license and clean driving abstract
- Must be able to participate in a rotating on-call schedule
- Ability to complete work activities which may include physical labour, material handling and lifting, climbing ladders, wearing a respirator, and working in tight spaces (attics, basements, and crawlspaces)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Xactimate or estimating software
- Relocation support may be available to tenured restoration industry project management professionals with Xactimate Level II and more
