Job Summary

Lead end-to-end project management for a portfolio of research, training, funding, and scientific collaboration initiatives within the Translational Data Science Integrated Research Center. Develop goals, timelines, and implementation plans while designing, launching, and administering new programs under the direction of leadership. Coordinate across faculty, staff, trainees, institutional partners, and external collaborators to ensure alignment and timely achievement of objectives. Serve as a liaison representing the center with internal departments, funding partners, and affiliated institutions. Develop and monitor project budgets, resource allocations, and expenditures to ensure stewardship and compliance. Maintain tracking systems and dashboards to monitor milestones, deliverables, risks, and outcomes. Identify operational challenges, implement solutions, and evaluate program effectiveness to support sustainability and growth. Work partially on campus or remotely.

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS in related field
  • equivalent experience
  • Minimum of three years post-master's related project/study management experience
  • five years post-bachelor's related project/study management experience
  • experience in a research setting
  • experience in a related field
  • Grant and contract experience
  • Strong supervisory skills
  • budgeting experience
  • This role will have the opportunity to work partially at our campus and remotely

Desired Qualifications

  • Project Management training/certification
  • Experience coordinating initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, teams, or organizational partners
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and improve operational processes, project management systems, and workflows
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgement, manage competing priorities, and effectively navigate complex projects and changing requirements
  • Demonstrated experience independently managing complex projects or programs from planning through implementation and evaluation
  • Experience developing and managing budgets, tracking expenditures, and coordinating financial resources
