Job Summary
Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects ranging from pre-construction through closeout. Lead project scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration while managing and supervising project teams including Project Engineers, Assistant PMs, and Superintendents. Ensure adherence to project specifications, building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards by conducting regular site visits, safety inspections, and project meetings. Facilitate communication and coordination with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers. Monitor project performance, proactively identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Review and approve subcontractor bids, change orders, RFIs, and project documentation. Provide detailed project reporting and forecasting to senior leadership. Support business development by maintaining client relationships and assisting in proposal development when needed.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of construction project management experience, including managing projects independently
- Demonstrated success delivering mid- to large-scale construction projects on schedule and within budget
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, documents, processes, and technology (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, Primavera)
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Self-starter, highly motivated, problem-solving skills, conflict resolution
- High school diploma required
- Must have at least Ten plus years of experience
- Required to stand, walk, and sit
- Talk or hear, both in person and by telephone
- Use hand (s) and fingers to handle or feel objects or controls
- Reach with hands and arms
- Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Preferred OSHA 30 Certification
- Construction experience preferred
