Job Summary
Lead full lifecycle delivery of large-scale mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, driving safety, schedule, cost, and client satisfaction. Manage project budgets, forecasts, and change orders while overseeing coordination with design teams and trades. Develop detailed schedules, monitor labor productivity, and implement prefabrication opportunities to optimize workflows. Champion a zero-incident safety culture by enforcing standards and managing site-specific safety plans. Build strong client relationships through effective communication and issue resolution. Identify risks early and develop contingency plans to protect project outcomes. Requires 5–10+ years of experience managing complex projects in healthcare, labs, or industrial sectors.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of mechanical construction methods and systems (HVAC, piping, plumbing)
- Proficiency in project management tools (Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.)
- Ability to interpret construction documents across multiple disciplines
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing union labor environments
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects at the same time
- 5–10+ years of experience managing large-scale mechanical construction projects
- Proven success delivering complex projects (healthcare, labs, higher ed, industrial, R&D)
- Physical activity not limited to climbing, bending, kneeling, crawling, lifting <50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Lean Construction and/or Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) preferred
