Project Manager - HVAC

Job Summary
Prepare quarterly financial forecasts, manage contract operations, and lead a team of technical employees to maintain a disciplined workforce. Direct daily performance, schedule maintenance, administer subcontracts, and control operational expenses while ensuring facility upkeep for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Plan and delegate major project assignments, coordinate supply purchases, and maintain liaison with architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Develop training sessions, enforce safety programs, and manage inventory controls for consumable supplies. Maintain sufficient records, files, and procedures to support management and work production. Walk throughout large facilities, including climbing stairs and catwalks, to oversee physical plant activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction discipline
- 2+ years of demonstrated experience managing HVAC projects
- Ability to submit written proposals
- Ability to develop scopes of work
- Ability to schedule site contractors
- Ability to coordinate other assigned personnel
- Thorough understanding of preventive maintenance schedules
- Ability to meet demanding customer requirements
- Strong experience with Windows
- Strong experience with MS Office
- Demonstrated skill at developing and nurturing client relationships
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
- Skilled in organizing and leading groups of people
- Capable of working independently or as part of a team
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to walk throughout a large facility
- Ability to climb stairs
- Ability to walk on catwalks
