Job Summary
Project Manager to oversee regional commercial mechanical and plumbing projects, based in Houston, TX, with discretionary travel across three regions. Responsibilities include managing submittals, RFIs, contracts/subcontracts, schedules, procurement, budgets, change orders, and billing; leading meetings with BEI staff, subcontractors, and clients; developing client/vendor relationships; reviewing drawings and specs (mechanical focus); leading safety culture; and coordinating with stakeholders. Requires direct mechanical project management experience and knowledge of plumbing, building automation, and other MEP trades; strong negotiation, interpersonal, organizational, time-management, and leadership skills; and proficiency with Google Workspace, Oracle NetSuite ERP, Salesforce CRM, Bluebeam Revu, Procore, and related software.
Required Qualifications
- Direct mechanical project management experience
- Additional knowledge and experience in plumbing, building automation, and other MEP-related trades
- Proven negotiation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills with the ability to train others
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Oracle NetSuite ERP, Salesforce CRM, Bluebeam Revu, Procore, and other construction management software
