Job Summary
Project Manager - Hospitality role leading a variety of hospitality and lifestyle-driven projects from concept through completion in a Chicago office. Responsibilities include directing all phases of design, documentation, and construction administration; building and maintaining client relationships with owners, operators, and brand stakeholders; generating new business opportunities and supporting marketing efforts; coordinating with multidisciplinary teams (architecture, interior design, F&B consultants, lighting designers, branding agencies); reviewing proposals, contracts, and consultant agreements; developing and managing project schedules, budgets, and work plans; ensuring compliance with codes, brand standards, and guest experience goals; mentoring junior staff and overseeing design documentation and deliverables; and driving project delivery across multiple concurrent projects while maintaining project profitability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- 7+ years of relevant design experience
- 2+ years of project management experience in a design or architecture firm with a focus on hospitality projects
- Experience delivering hospitality environments such as hotels, resorts, restaurants, or mixed-use developments
- Strong understanding of hospitality design principles, guest experience, and operational workflows
- Knowledge of building codes, accessibility standards, and jurisdictional requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
