Job Summary
Manage commercial construction projects from award through closeout, obtaining permits, ensuring compliance, and serving as the primary contact for owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Develop schedules using Procore and Microsoft Project, manage budgets and forecasts, coordinate procurement, and lead teams including Superintendents and Project Engineers. Monitor progress, resolve issues, ensure quality standards via site inspections, and maintain documentation while promoting safe jobsite operations. Travel approximately 25% to project sites throughout the United States. Required Qualifications
- 3-7+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial general contractor
- Experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects valued between $2M-$5M
- Strong understanding of commercial construction processes from preconstruction through closeout
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, and cost control experience
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project priorities
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Procore experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Project scheduling preferred
- Bachelor's degree is preferred but equivalent construction experience will be considered
