Job Summary
The Project Manager Highway/Roadway Engineer will oversee transportation-related design projects, including developing contract plans, specifications, and estimates for construction. Responsibilities include managing engineering design tasks related to roadway geometric design, supervising engineers and technicians, providing technical expertise for design compliance, and ensuring quality control of engineering work products. The role requires strong project delivery skills, effective communication with stakeholders, marketing support, and assistant in project execution.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of post-licensure engineering experience in transportation design
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university or college
- Experience preparing final design plans, specifications, and estimates
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient in Microstation and OpenRoads Designer
- Proficient in MS Office Suite programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
- Strong verbal communication and technical writing skills
- Strong analytical problem-solving, time management and organizational skills
