Job Summary
Leads the Architectural Project Team through close collaboration with SOM Partners project leadership to achieve design, technical and financial success. Manages client agreements (letters of intent, memoranda of understanding, professional service agreements), tracks labor allocation and project profitability, and chairs weekly team meetings to address variances from the plan. Oversees scheduling, budgeting, and contract compliance, supports new business and marketing efforts, supervises staff, and fosters professional development. Requires professional degree in Architecture; LEED accreditation preferred; 6+ years of experience with proven leadership of project teams, strong communication, and familiarity with Revit/AutoCAD/Rhino and related software; experience with Deltek Vision, Salesforce, Smartsheets, Adobe Suite, and Google Workspace. Encourages hybrid/flexible schedules and participates in sustainable strategy development.
Required Qualifications
- Professional degree in Architecture
- Professional licensure process is close to completion; LEED accreditation preferred
- Minimum 6 years of experience or equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities
- Demonstrated ability to lead project teams and manage schedule, budget and program
- Domestic project experience with multiple completed and constructed projects; experience through Design and Construction Delivery
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of sustainable strategies and LEED or green building rating systems
- Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, parametric and rendering software; Microsoft Office, Smartsheets, Adobe Suite and Google Workspace; Deltek Vision, Salesforce
