Job Summary
The Electrical Project Manager is responsible for planning, managing, overseeing, and directing all assigned projects including developing strong teams, driving division profitability, and ensuring quality output is delivered on time and within budget. Responsibilities include mentoring direct reports, managing project reviews with an emphasis on financial forecasting, and interacting with customers to ensure their expectations are understood and met. Candidates should have at least 5 years of project management experience in electrical construction, strong understanding of engineering in electric power, and knowledge of project scheduling and contracts.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of project management experience in electrical commercial/mixed use construction
- Understanding of engineering in electric power
- Field experience coordinating with construction management
- Extensive knowledge of project scheduling, bids, take-offs, change orders, and contracts
- Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and assist in winning projects
- Demonstrated ability to run a profitable portfolio
- Exceptional initiative, execution and communication skills, both oral and written
- Exceptional analytical, motivational, and leadership skills
Desired Qualifications
- Electrical engineering degree
- Construction Management degree
- Journeyman or Master Electrician's license
