Project Manager – Heavy-Highway / Civil Construction

Job Summary
Oversee profitability and delivery of heavy-highway/civil construction projects; develop and maintain master project schedule; coordinate with owners, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams; manage contracts, pay requests, change orders, RFIs, and ASIs; create and manage subcontracts and purchase orders; review shop drawings for compliance; prepare monthly WIP reports and change proposals; assist with estimating; requires strong communication, drawing interpretation, and MS Project/Microsoft Office proficiency; based in Southwest Missouri with travel to project sites.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of heavy-civil construction experience
- Experience with heavy-civil projects including water/wastewater, bridge, highway, grading, drainage, utilities, concrete, paving
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Scheduling software proficiency (MS Project or similar) and Microsoft Office
