Job Summary
Develop and maintain project estimates, manage change orders and billing processes, and oversee subcontractor performance to ensure projects meet quality, safety, and regulatory requirements. Create detailed schedules with critical paths, coordinate project start-ups, and monitor labor productivity reports to keep projects on budget. Conduct daily site inspections, lead safety meetings, and enforce safety policies while managing risk exposures and labor relations. Travel extensively across North America to meet clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, reporting issues to leadership and maintaining strong client relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree related to the construction industry
- 5 years' experience in project engineering, construction project management, or related activities
- exposure to projects in excess of $20 million within the heavy civil and/or marine sectors
- Specific experience managing self-perform marine, foundations, and/or structural concrete scopes
- willingness to travel to project locations anywhere across North America for extended periods of time (up to 85%)
Desired Qualifications
- Prior exposure working for clients such as USACE, TVA, and/or NAVFAC
