Project Manager - Heavy Civil Construction

Project Manager for Heavy Civil Construction responsible for overall project performance from pre-construction through completion, including safety, owner satisfaction, cost, schedule, and quality control. Build and maintain client/owner relationships with architects and engineers; coordinate with preconstruction for value engineering, estimating assistance, and bid solicitations; set up and maintain cost accounting and project schedule; support permitting and inspections; manage contracts, subcontractors, and purchase orders; develop Schedule of Values and monthly pay applications; track change orders, submittals, and deliveries; facilitate owner/subcontractor meetings; oversee warranties; monitor budgets and weekly progress; perform site visits to review progress, safety, and quality; resolve disputes with vendors/subcontractors; manage startup/commissioning and owner training; report project financials and conflicts to Division Manager. Qualifications include a Bachelors degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management; water/wastewater construction experience; experience managing self-perform crews; strong written and verbal communication; five-plus years in related field; track record of multimillion-dollar project delivery; proficiency with CPM scheduling, construction management software, and Microsoft Office.
