Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of airport and concrete paving construction projects from mobilization through closeout, managing subcontractor coordination, scheduling, materials, and QA/QC per FAA and DOT standards. Lead on-site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and client expectations while maintaining detailed reporting, daily logs, and progress updates. Develop weekly look-ahead schedules and cost tracking to ensure efficient execution, collaborating with engineers and inspectors to resolve field issues proactively. Mentor project engineers and provide strategic input to support the company's Texas market expansion. Based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area with a base salary of $120,000–$150,000 and performance-based bonus potential.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of construction management experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of FAA and DOT specifications, airfield operations, and multi-phase construction
- Proven track record managing projects in the $5M–$25M range
- Must be based in or open to relocation to the Dallas–Fort Worth area
- Proficiency in scheduling and project management tools
- Strong reporting and documentation skills
