Project Manager, Heavy Civil and Commercial Construction

Job Summary
Provide and drive project vision while overseeing heavy civil, site development, commercial building, and general contracting projects from inception through completion. Develop master project schedules, review engineering plans for quantity takeoffs, and coordinate multiple scopes of work including structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Monitor field activities to ensure compliance with policies, contracts, and regulations, while administering project policies to subcontractors. Control project costs, manage change orders, and prepare monthly cost-to-complete reports for leadership. Collaborate with engineers, inspectors, clients, and suppliers to resolve issues and maintain positive cash flow. Maintain a working knowledge of all construction disciplines and support company safety initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline preferred
- Five or more years of construction management experience with a general contractor or similarly positioned construction company, including experience leading projects as a Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, or Superintendent
- Previous experience working as a Foreman and Superintendent on a similar project is a plus
- Estimating experience is a strong plus
- Proven ability to develop and manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, and cost projections
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills, and detail oriented
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Primavera, Vista, and Procore
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline preferred
- Previous experience working as a Foreman and Superintendent on a similar project is a plus
- Estimating experience is a strong plus
