Job Summary
Project Manager for healthcare construction projects responsible for overall planning, management, procurement, scheduling, and execution of work for assigned construction projects. Leads project teams, prepares PMP and pre-construction/preferral meetings, negotiates subcontracts and change orders, manages permits and regulatory requirements, monitors cost/schedule/quality/safety, coordinates with client and subcontractors, and oversees project close-out and invoicing. Requires OSHPD experience, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and 5+ years of experience managing multi-million dollar projects (typically $50M+), with strong estimating, contract knowledge, and leadership capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- OSHPD experience
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field, or the equivalent education and experience
- 5+ years of experience in the industry with experience running projects $50M; preferably in hospitality and/or multifamily
- Understanding of estimating concepts to verify bids, understand market rates, and process change orders
- Understanding contractual language and concepts and how to protect the company while providing quality service; working knowledge of construction laws and practices
- Understanding building codes and design requirements as well as plans, blueprints, and specifications
- Effective teamwork and delegation skills
- Strong verbal and written presentation and communication abilities
