Job Summary
Manage planning, procurement, scheduling, and execution for assigned healthcare construction projects, maximizing profitability and ensuring quality and safety standards. Prepare project budgets, develop management plans, and lead pre-award meetings while coordinating with the superintendent on site monitoring for cost, schedule, and risk performance. Negotiate change orders, control subcontractor payments, and oversee final close-out procedures including as-built drawings and substantial completion letters. Interact directly with clients and estimators to maintain strong relationships and provide accurate cost information. Requires OSHPD experience and a Bachelor's degree in construction management or civil engineering. Salary range is $125,000 to $160,000 with a target bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Must have OSHPD experience
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field, or the equivalent education and experience
- Preferably at least 5 years experience working in commercial construction
- Understands estimating concepts to the level required to verify bids, understand market rates, and to process change orders, etc.
- Understands contractual language and concepts and how to protect the company while providing quality service to the client and has a working knowledge of construction laws and practices
- Understands building codes and other design requirements as well as plans, blueprints, and specifications
- Effective working as a team member and knows how to delegate to other team members to achieve organizational and customer goals
- Skilled at making verbal and written presentations and communications with others
