Project Manager, Healthcare Construction (Orlando)

Job Summary
Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and schedules to ensure successful project delivery for healthcare commercial construction. Maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal building codes and regulations while overseeing quality control and permitting processes. Build strong relationships with clients, architects, consultants, and subcontractors by coordinating project teams and facilitating communication among all stakeholders. Proactively identify challenges, manage contractual documentation including change orders, and lead project meetings to resolve action items. Prepare owner payment applications, review subcontractor invoices, and support superintendents through ongoing coordination. Ensure compliance with AHCA regulations and manage post-occupancy issues and warranty efforts. Requires 5+ years of construction management experience, a relevant bachelor's degree, and proficiency in Microsoft Project.
Required Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, construction science, engineering, architecture, or related field from an accredited university
- 5 years as a construction manager or in a similar position in construction project management
- Experience with healthcare commercial construction
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Able to manage a team of employees and multiple projects
- Experience in compiling and following strict budgets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Accurate and precise attention to detail
- Goal-oriented and organized leadership
- Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
- In-depth understanding of the construction industry
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Proficient with Microsoft Project
- Experience with Project Management software
Desired Qualifications
- Experience managing AHCA-regulated projects
- Experience with healthcare commercial construction with AHCA preferred
