Job Summary
Project Manager for the Healthcare Team at McMillan Pazdan Smith, located in Greenville, SC or Columbia, SC. Responsibilities include actively participating in marketing and business development plans, preparing strategic plans for practice success, representing the firm at professional/trade organizations, aligning operations with strategic plans, fostering learning and collaboration, reviewing and directing professional development plans for team members, managing finished plans, specifications, and materials approvals, preparing design and proposal materials, conducting code research for approvals, collaborating with engineers/contractors/clients, ensuring environmental, safety, structural, zoning, and aesthetic standards, reviewing shop drawings and submittals, coordinating all project efforts for cost-effective execution, actively managing client budgets and schedules, supervising site observations, making major design decisions, documenting project progression, and initiating client/town official contacts.
Required Qualifications
- Professional degree in Architecture from an NAAB-accredited program
- Ability to provide business development for firm within practice expertise area
- 10+ years combined experience as a design professional and/or architect
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and Revit
- Firm grasp of building technology fundamentals
- Thorough knowledge of relevant codes, operations, processes, and trends
- Excellent time management, organizational and written and verbal communication skills
