Job Summary
Project Manager for Health Care and Well-being Standards (CSA Group) leads full lifecycle standards development from needs assessment to publication, working with volunteer experts across health care facilities, technologies, and systems. Responsibilities include developing business cases, recruiting members, managing committees, coordinating technical content, technical writing and revision, planning and conducting meetings, and broader consultations to produce high-quality documents. The role emphasizes detail, planning, process orientation, stakeholder collaboration across levels and divergent interests, and contributing to research activities to inform standards or their implementation. The position requires strong writing and reporting, public speaking, relationship-building and business development, leadership, budget management, and the ability to plan and execute projects. Fluency in French for Quebec and English for outside Quebec is required. Salary range is CAD 86,160–CAD 100,000 gross per year, with potential eligibility for annual bonuses; a bilingual, multinational context with a focus on global impact and growth opportunities. Location options include Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Edmonton, and Calgary, Canada, with in-person work expected in these cities. Required Qualifications
- post-secondary degree in biomedical engineering, kinesiology, health sciences, science, law or other similar field
- Masters preferred
- PMP designation is an asset
- minimum 3-5 years project management or standards development experience
- polished writing and reporting skills
- public speaking and presentations
- leadership and budget management
- ability to plan and execute projects
- facilitation skills to promote consensus among volunteers
- budget management for projects
- conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- French fluency required for Quebec office
- English fluency required for clients outside Quebec
