Job Summary
Manage the full lifecycle delivery of capital infrastructure projects in health and life sciences sectors, from strategic case through post-occupancy. Act as a key point of contact for clients and teams while working with a group to ensure commissions align with company values, financial instructions, and statutory approvals. Proactively monitor progress to maintain compliance with industry good practice, legislation, and mandatory standards. Update commission execution plans throughout the project and demonstrate stakeholder management using recognized project management processes and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Preferably educated to degree or equivalent level in a relevant field
- Membership of a chartered institute in the construction industry (e.g. RICS, CIBSE, CIOB, APM or MICE)
- Achieved or working towards a recognised Project Management qualification or chartership, e.g. APM PMQ, NEC PM accreditation, MRICs or ChPP
- Experience as a Project Manager in a construction project environment
- Experience in delivering in accordance with industry delivery best practice, such as the NHS Capital Investment Manual, RIBA Plan of Work, OGC Gateways
- Stakeholder management
- A knowledge of construction contract management including standard forms of contract and procurement options
